AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Service Description

ACLS is an advanced, Instructor Led classroom course. The course builds on the foundation of Basic Life Support skills, emphasizing the importance of high quality CPR. This advance course highlights the importance of team dynamics and communication, systems of care, recognition and intervention of cardiopulmonary arrest, immediate post-cardiac arrest care, acute dysrhythmia, stroke and acute coronary syndromes.airway care. Upon successful completion of the course, students will receive a course completion card, valid for 2 years. Course Pre-Requisites: 1. Must complete and pass the ACLS precourse assessment course. The completion certification will required to attend the class. This class can be found online at eLearning.heart.org. 2. Basic understanding of EKG's and pharmacology for successful completion. 3. Current BLS certification 4. Current ACLS Provider card ( for ACLS Renewals only) 2 year certification card will be issued same day for early am class, next day for all others.
