Pre-Course Requirements: The BLS instructor Course recourse requirements: 1. You must have a current BLS certification card. 2. Complete the online BLS Instructor Essentials Course. This course covers the components of the instructor cycle: Prepare,Teach, Test& Remediate, Close and Keep Current. This course can be purchased at shopcpr.heart.org 3. Purchase the AHA BLS Instructor Manual print or EBOOK. After completing the instructor course, you will need to be monitored teaching a BLS class within 6 months. After successfully completing this portion, the student will be issued a BLS instructor Card. If you do not complete the course monitoring session with 6 months of completing the instruction training, the instructor course must, be taken again.
